Do I have to use the contractor my insurance agent recommends?

Insurance companies often make referrals to contractors for repair and restoration work – and we are often recommended. But your coverage is not contingent upon using one of the contractors recommended. You can choose the contractor with whom you wish to work. This is true for water recovery, storm damage, as well as roof repairs and replacements.

Is Drake’s Construction & Restoration a licensed contractor?

What services do you provide?

We provide a wide range of services to help you tackle projects around your home or business, including:

• HVAC services: We install, maintain, and repair heating and air conditioning systems from most major manufacturers to keep you comfortable.
• Construction services: If you need something built, we can handle it for you, from decks and porches to garages, gazebos and beyond.
• Restoration and repair services: We offer 24/7 emergency repairs and complete general contracting services to address damage from hail, wind or other weather events.
• Remodeling services: Redoing your kitchen or bathroom? We can help! Our experienced team can make your vision come to life.
• Roofing services: We’ll repair or replace your roof with traditional, metal or slate materials to keep the elements out.

Will I receive an itemized bid?

We provide a very detailed project estimate for every job. See an example below. And you can request an estimate with our online form.

Will the same person be running my project from start to finish?

Yes, we assign one foreman to your job, and we’ll be happy to introduce you to your foreman before you sign a contract with us.

Are your suppliers and employees local?

Yes. We purchase materials from major chains located in Parkersburg and across the Mid Ohio Valley, as well as independent suppliers of both goods and services. And our employees live here as well.

How long have you been in business?

Drake’s Construction & Restoration has been in business for over 20 years.

Would you be willing to provide references?

We’re always glad to provide you with names and contact information for our clients, who are always a source of referrals for our work and services. You can also check out our customer reviews and local directory listings on the web!

How long will my project take and how much will it cost?

Drake’s will conduct a thorough assessment of your project and then provide you with a very detailed itemized estimate. Drake’s adheres to the date and budget stated on our quotes, updating both based only on changes to the project made at your request.

Is Drake’s fully insured?

Yes, we are fully insured and also carry full worker’s compensation coverage on our employees.

Is it normal to be so stressed out?

Losing a home and/or belongings to a flood IS very stressful. It is important to know that the feelings of loss and stress after a flood are second only to those caused by the death of a loved one. Give yourself time and permission to grieve.

Do you help with the design of a kitchen, bath or other remodel?
